MEET OUR JUDGES
Dani Cutler:
Dani Cutler is the morning show host and the host of Dani’s Diner Retro Hour on KWSS Independent Radio. She is also the Promotions and Marketing Manager for the station, as well as co-Program Director. Dani was classically trained in music since elementary school. She understands the importance of listening, not just to music but to each other. You can hear Dani weekday mornings 6-10 am and noon on 93.9/99.5fm kwss.org
Dan Emery:
Dan moved to Arizona in 2009 and within a few years, was fortunate to have established a residency performing solo @ JW Marriott-Camelback Inn, Saturday evenings from 2014 through 2019. That lead to other corporate and private functions performed at: The Grill @ TPC Scottsdale, Dynamite Grille (Troon North Golf Club), R Bar (Hilton Phoenix), McCormick Golf Ranch, Golf Club Scottsdale, Four Seasons @ Troon North, Sangria Lounge (Scottsdale Resort), Cave Creek Road House, Jade Bar Patio (The Sanctuary), Ironwood Clubhouse (Anthem Country Club, Maribel Golf Club and The Hermosa Inn.
Dan has had the honor of performing the National Anthem over the years for Cactus League spring training games featuring the Chicago White Sox, KC Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, AZ Diamondbacks, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, California Angels and Oakland Athletics.
Dan returns to Rock the District this year as a judge and mentor, having been involved with RTD for the past few years. When he’s not singing you can catch him at the skate park and skateboard tournaments around the southwest.
Fran Scianna & Kim Zinevich:
Fran and Kim are the lead singers of The Bellwethers, a Phoenix-based original rock band. They are also the founders of SZR Music Group, an independent record label established in 2015. Fran and Kim have been performing, writing, recording and publishing music for over 20 years. Kim and Fran performed with The Bellwethers at RTD 2022 and we are excited to have them back as judges and mentors this year.
