🔥 Band Spotlight - Piper Klein 🔥

Hi! I’m Piper Klein, an 11-year-old 5th grader at Cicero Prep Academy. I love being on stage and have a passion for singing and performing. I was proud to be named runner-up in the Bard Recitation for my performance of “A Dream Within a Dream” by Edgar Allan Poe.
When I’m not performing, I stay active as a gray belt in jiu-jitsu and a member of the dance squad at Dance Connection. I’ve also had the honor of singing the national anthem for Phoenix Rising Soccer Club
I bring energy, confidence and heart into everything I do-on stage and off.

🔥 Band Spotlight - Apollo 🔥

Apollo is a teenage garage band from Anthem, Arizona, formed just over a year ago after each member picked up their instrument for the first time. The band features Tobin Estes on drums, Wyatt Simons on bass, Harrison Dipoma on lead guitar, and frontman Austin Simons on vocals and rhythm guitar. When they’re not rehearsing, they’re skating, playing sports, and staying active in their schools and community.

🔥 Band Spotlight - Satellite Eclipse 🔥

Satellite Eclipse is a rising youth rock band from Prescott Valley AZ, made up of teenage musicians Alex, Els, Annie, and June. What started as jam sessions between friends quickly evolved into a powerful sound fueled by passion, creativity, and a love of rock music.

Their energy and chemistry on stage set them apart, drawing in crowds at local shows and online with their exciting original songs and fresh new takes on covers. Known for their tight grooves, soaring vocals, and electrifying performances, Satellite Eclipse is making their mark as one of the most exciting young bands in the quad-city area.

The band is currently writing and recording original music while continuing to connect with fans through live performances and social media. With friendship at their core and music as their driving force, Satellite Eclipse is just getting started — and they’re ready to take their sound as far as it will go!

Michael Nitro

Michael Nitro is a high-energy singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for his powerful vocals and dynamic rock performances.
He has shared the stage with legendary artists including Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper, Bo Diddley, and Sam Moore, and has opened for national acts such as Bon Jovi and REO Speedwagon. His original music has been featured on the Showtime series “City on a Hill”.
With years of professional stage and industry experience, Michael brings valuable insight, constructive feedback, and a passion for live performance to his role as a mentor at Rock the District.

Mel Graeff

Mel Graeff is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist based in Arizona. She is the lead singer of All the Better, opening for bands such as Mayday Parade, Daisy Grenade, The Wonder Years, and The Haunt. She’s passionate about live performance, strong stage presence, and mentoring young artists as they grow in confidence and musicianship.

Vyncent Van Atta

Vyncent Van Atta is a nineteen-year-old guitar player, dedicated performer, and an audio engineer in the works. He aims to pursue music throughout his career. In doing so, he is a lead guitarist in the bands My Upside Down, and Pinup. He also attends the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in order to achieve his lifelong goals of becoming both a recording and mixing engineer.

Jared Wolfe
Jared is the vocalist and founder of the band My Upside Down. In the 3 years of the band’s formation, My Upside Down has released 3 EP’s and accumulated over two million independent streams. My Upside Down also placed 3rd in Alice Cooper’s Proof in the Pudding battle of the bands competition in the year 2023.
Jared enjoys writing poetry, video games, guitar, and movies that are scary.

Dan Settle
Dan started teaching in Illinois in 2015 at a small music shop in Grayslake, Illinois. He began teaching guitar and worked his way to teaching bass, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin. Dan Settle has been in a variety of bands playing a variety of genres; his main genres are metal and blues. He has a bachelor`s in computer science and mixes both of his passions- computers and music- into creating and scoring video games! When not making music he loves coding, DND, and Magic the Gathering.
