WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Event Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
Location: Cactus Shadows High School Track (Start/Finish)

By completing this registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following terms on behalf of myself and/or my minor child participating in the Run the District Fundraiser, which may include the 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Kids Fun Run,  and/or Kids Zone Activity Area.

I understand that participation involves potential risks of injury and agree that I (and/or my child) am physically able and properly trained or supervised. I assume all risks and release the Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation (CCUEF), the Cave Creek Unified School District, event organizers, sponsors, officials, volunteers, and their agents from any and all claims or liabilities arising from participation, even if due to negligence.

I grant permission for emergency medical treatment if necessary, and understand that parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times during the event. I also authorize CCUEF and its partners to use photographs or recordings of me and/or my child for promotional or educational purposes without compensation. I understand that registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
