Work is in progress on an amazing public art project sponsored by CCUEF.

Desert Willow Elementary School Teacher Leih Cooper was awarded a CCUEF grant to underwrite a public mural project. Her 4th grade students are working with professional artist Aztec Smurf to create a striking mural that reflects our southwest heritage that is also part of the school curriculum.

We are proud to provide this grant that falls under our Music and the Arts pillar of support to the Cave Creek Unified School District.
