Our History

Parents, the surrounding community and the school district determined that there is not now, nor would there be in the future, sufficient funds through traditional funding sources to meet the needs and desires of the community for school programs and services.  The Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation was founded in 2008 to provide an alternative, tax-exempt source of funding for the Cave Creek Unified School District.

The four pillars of support emphasized by the foundation are:

Classroom resources, including:

  • Technology
  • Music and the Arts
  • International Learning
  • Health and Wellness

We developed a “Case for Support” and are committed to raising funds for needs within the district that further education through fundraising functions as well as building an endowment fund so the proceeds from interest can be used to provide and accelerate the availability of academic programs and services for the children of the Cave Creek Unified School District.
